2.0 petrol five-speed manual non turbo
So I was driving from Kinver to Merry Hill and got a little lost, saw a Volvo for sale with a piece of paper in the window and pulled over in the rain to check it out…
Turns out it was for sale outside the Son’s house, it belonged to the Mother and had been in the family for 22 years. It’s covered 145,000 miles and yesterday we took the seat covers off for the first time in apparently 16 years, revealing an immaculate interior! It’s a 2.0 non turbo and it drives beautifully, has had some welding for recent MOTs but is generally a very straight and honest car. I’m rather fond of it already. 2 months MOT but I don’t see that being too much of an issue, the main thing is that it drives like virtually new.
I did a deal there and then at the side of the road and the nice gentleman (and his elderly mother) delivered it to my mum’s house where it now sits on the drive. They are also going to send me a lot of old photos and stories on their 2 decades with the car so I can make a YouTube video.

Wow that is a cool motor 👌🏻Volvo’s are mostly always bought by people who just love motor cars so come with an interesting story, love it 😍👍🏻
