And just like that, underneath the lights of an (almost) full moon, the Renault Laguna BTCC replica found a new owner! It was an evening of twists and turns with all the usual antics from the regulars, along with a whole heap of new faces! Everyone stayed for the bible talk, and got their drink and biscuit at the end. The established Geoffistas were very accommodating with the new guys, and even Connor was fairly well behaved by his standards. We had the shouts of ‘redraw’ and twelve people claiming to go by the name of the winner, but the Laguna is on the way to it’s new owner Nicholas Bragg, with Gareth Rudkin taking the consolation prize… the 1/43 scale Renault Laguna BTCC car.
