2004 Audi A4 Convertible, 1.8 turbo, S4 ‘replica’
THE GOOD > 89,000 miles, MOT until May with no obvious problems, S4 replica bits including big wheels, badges, twin exit exhaust, BOSE sound system, heated leather seats, nice interior, drives very well, goes in a straight line, brakes well (brakes look recent ish), clean and tidy all round, fresh tyre on the back and four matching wheels, no really obvious clanger problems other than the below…
THE BAD > It’s a bit boring, the roof is temperamental (a new motor has been fitted but we think it’s fuse or sensor related, comes off manually with the emergency handle though), the clutch is maybe a bit high, but i’m not sure if that’s just because I’m used to Volvos and actually this is the first A4 I’ve ever had, I usually just print on it. Think it’s a Cat N, spurious previous insurance write off for cosmetics.
