2001 BMW 530D (E39) SE
This lovely Topas Blue BMW 5 Series was purchased by Matt some 5,000 miles ago, mostly because he (like me) can’t say no to a good local car. It was offered out in the Geoff Buys Cars Luxury Special in 2021 but not chosen, so was leant to Matt’s mechanic who ran the car for 6 months. In late January 2021 it was due an MOT, so has had some work to the suspension and some tyres! A very tidy E39 in a beautiful colour, that’ll return 35mpg or more on a run.

Sadly you’re not dreaming Chris, the Touring didn’t work out as it threw a plethora of warning lights and issues, which meant Matt and I weren’t comfortable in offering it out. ABS and Air Bag etc, it is explained in a blog post but I’ll make that more prominent.
