1999 BMW 7 Series (E38) 728i
Oxford Green Metallic with Montana Beige Leather
Shadowline Trim and M Sport Steering Wheel
211,000 miles, one owner from new.
This beautiful BMW 728 was first registered on 22nd October 2009, to be used as the personal transport of a company director. The director and this BMW would cover 150,000 miles together in the next decade, after which the ownership was transferred privately to himself to enjoy the next 60,000 miles. Today the odometer shows 211,000 miles, all at the hands of just one gentleman.
Present with the car are all three keys, as well as a staggering amount of paperwork spanning from 2002 to 2020. Interestingly there is an order form present with the car, which details all of the options that this car displays but with the lighter shade of Glacier Green paintwork over Black leather requested. Why did the gentleman order a car in Glacier Green but take delivery of one in Oxford Green….? I’m trying to find out, but I’m rather glad he did. This car looks superb.
Detailed in the history file is a huge array of work, with some £8,000 spent in the last 7 years. The total spend since 2002 is an impressive £22,000, including a new fuel tank back in 2010 and more recently, front discs and pads, a big service, heater assembly, lower arms, anti roll bar bushes and steering control arms all in the last 10,000 miles.
There is evidence of a huge amount of work, love, care and attention that this car has enjoyed, which I can go through with you in detail if you are interested. I have a YouTube channel called ‘Geoff Buys Cars’ and this car will be appearing because this is quite honestly one of the best history files I’ve ever seen.
NOW SOLD.
