Interesting car this…
It was owned for a very long time by a gentleman who was involved with motorsport stewarding, and he donated it to Practical Classics magazine on the basis that they’d do some restorative work and get an article out of it.
They got it back on the road and took it to Beauliau Auto Jumble for an article about trying to sell stuff at the show AND then selling the car you went in!
I purchased it from the gent who purchased it at the show, and took it on a track day with Joseph Lloyd Vehicle Consulting.
It was the Geoffled to Ian, and he’s owned it ever since.
Mileage shows an impressive 290,000 but it had lower mileage engine fitted not long ago.
It’s a lovely spec, in a great colour, all you need to do is fit a T5 engine…
