First up, ignore the rusty, ropey photo above this text. It’s all been done since then!
Found it on Facebook marketplace, it was 2 miles up the road and sort of being sold by a friend of a friend (who has since become a friend). Fell in love with it as soon as I saw it on the street and the rest is history, all documented on YouTube below.
Work Geoff has done so far…
- Given it the clean of a lifetime inside, outside and underneath
- Ripped out the old and haggard boot carpet, cleaned beneath it
- Painted the chassis with high quality Hycote matt black
- Painted the boot area with high quality Hammerite Straight To Rust Gold Metal Paint

I know you only buy and sell old cars but was wondering if you ever come across Toyota Hilux between 2006 to 2018 sort of year’s?
And what’s your views on this car I’m also looking at an older model 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser Lacardo a bit of a best good for towing
