I’M NOT DEAD!
Mark Zuckerberg phoned me this morning, he said ‘Oi, Geoff, where are you? Are you dead? It’s been 36 hours since you spammed everyone with a £10 car or a cheap Volvo or Saab, what’s up, come on, get outta bed and get back on it already!’
So here I am. I have indeed been in bed, wiped out by a severe bout of Man Flu (not the dreaded thing that shall not be named – I did a test).
Anyway, I’m up and about now, and drinking tea and browsing Marketplace like normal, which is good news!
During my time in bed I had some delirious dreams, or as Hunter S Thompson would have put it, hellishly introspective nightmares…
I was driving a Volvo 850 BTCC replica around Silverstone in the dark, being chased by a Renault Laguna BTCC replica which was being driven by the Beast of Bodmin… except we were actually a team, both trying to escape a 30ft T Rex, who was trying to shoot at us, except instead of holding a gun in his tiny arms, he had an E10 petrol pump…. Next to the T Rex was a pack of Velociraptors, who were riding hoverboards and trying to get alongside our cars so they could ask us to produce our papers…
Bizarre dreams aside, I had intended to go to the Sunday car meet at HR4K, I’d even told many of you I was going. I’d planned on leaving my house at 10am but when I finally woke up on Sunday morning it was 5.40pm.
Anyway, now that I’m on the mend, there’s some updates on the various Geoff giveaways that are happening this month.
