It’s a 1.3 manual petrol on 167k but it had a replacement engine at some point which (if I remember correctly) is on about 70k now. I have paperwork to prove and some history, mainly for the engine.
It’s had a few tasty bits added by previous owners including being lifted with knobbly tyres, snorkel, aux stereo, rear disk conversion and rear spoiler. Body is straight and solid, same for the interior but both display more than a whiff of ‘off road chic’!
Owned for 2 years, my daughter learnt to drive in it and had it as her first car. In that time I’ve done a few things. New clutch (see above!), two new brake calipers and fitted manual wheel lockers as the vacuum system was being temperamental, the 4×4 works fine now.
It was off the road over last winter due to a rear wheel bearing so took the time to do a drive train refresh. Along with two new rear wheel bearings and seals it’s had replacement rear diff and front and rear prop shafts from a car with less miles.
It had lots of welding done prior to buying it and I had more done for its first MOT with me. Went through the last one ok so seem to be on top of it now. I undersealed when I first got it but could do with a refresh. Also needs new rear shocks as advised on the MOT.
Not getting used, it’s hardly done any miles since the MOT in April so needs to go. I’m based in Pulborough, West Sussex
