NEWS FLASH!
Crikey, it’s been a busy week here at Geoff Buys Cars HQ. Firstly, a Mercedes-Benz CLK320 has arrived but i’ve not 100% decided what to do with it yet. After I posted this photo on Facebook, two interesting proposals landed in my inbox and both were for cars I know pretty well. There’s a chance the CLK will be traded and believe it or not either Pablo or the Daimler may be making a welcome return to the channel! The CLK came from Tash who won Pablo but didn’t want him, so if I end up swapping Tash’s CLK for the Saab he won but didn’t want (and that i’ve already bought three times), that’ll be some bizarre form of automotive incest. Even I have struggled to keep up this week.
As if that isn’t chaotic enough, Glenn the winner of the last giveaway pulled a Boris style U-Turn and reversed his decision on which car he wanted… So he’s now having the 9-3 Convertible instead. Normally that would mean the 9-3 Coupe could drop into the next Geoff special, but Geoff Car Owner Rich got in touch and bought the Saab as his stop-gap car. Capiche? Rich now joins an exclusive club of 2… 2 members who each own 2 ex-Geoff Buys Cars Cars (Chris with the SLK and Daimler and Rich with the 940 Torslanda and Saab 9-3 Coupe).
So, where does all this leave the next Geoff Special!?
The BMW E46 325i M Sport Saloon is probably one of the best cars I’ve bought this year, making this quite a special giveaway. The E39 523i Touring should arrive with me next week, and that too looks a superb example. As a total curveball and by popular request, the third choice is the Honda Melody Moped from the Saab Convertible video. Yup, it’s the first ever Geoff Buys Mopeds.
