2000 Alfa Romeo 146 TS Junior, 1.6 litre Twin Spark

The problem with running a page called Geoff Buys Cars is that everyone wants me to buy cars, and I usually end up doing so.
This little Alfa came around after I messaged a guy called Chris (obviously) on Facebook about a Saab 900 that was listed for a ridiculously tempting price. As time went by I sort of forgot about it, and Chris got a lot of abusive messages saying ‘you have listed this too cheap’. When I finally got back in touch and said ‘hey Chris, still got that Saab’ he said that he’d upped the price and sold it strong. Fair enough!
After going back and forth on a few cars Chris then offered me this lovely little thing… It’s a rare Alfa Romeo 146 with a peppy 1.6 litre engine and of course it’s RED! I was sold. It’s not without it’s faults, mostly the roof has been wrapped black (does that hide lacquer peel) and there’s a dent in the door, but neither of these things are hard to resolve. There’s less than 60 Alfa Romeo 146’s of any sort on the roads today, making this the rarest Geoff car I’ve had so far.
The small engine and hatchback format makes it a nice, cheap to run retro classic that can be used as a daily and shown at your local Cars & Coffee. It’s the perfect Geoff car, and it’s CUTE!
